THE SANGUDO GROWERS

The Sangudo Growers Association is a collection of families who work to produce high quality, seasonal foods.

We work together to provide you with certified organic and non-certified- farm finished meat, raised outside and completely free of hormones.

Representing the Sangudo Growers Association is Heather and her husband, Jeff.  They own a 160-acre mixed farm, 15km’s north of Sangudo, where they raise Berkshire hogs and heritage breed laying hens.  Jeff is also co-owner of the Sangudo Custom Meat Packers.

A new addition to the Sangudo Growers Association is classically trained, English Butcher, Elyse Chatterton.   Bringing her modern twists to meat she will be showcasing some new and exciting products for the Sangudo Growers Association.

WHERE DO WE PROCESS OUR MEAT?

We care about the meat that we put on your table.  Where it comes from, how it is processed, and how it is delivered.  Being farmers and family men ourselves we want to make sure that everyone wins.  That means:  Buying from local farmers that raise their animals in a healthy way and ensuring them a fair price; having the most humane handling system in North America to ensure that the animals are dealt with as little stress as possible; working within our community to provide jobs and supporting rural Alberta; giving you the cuts of meat that you want from certified organic beef, pork, elk, bison, and lamb; and providing you with food that tastes great and that you can feel good about putting on your table.

WHO MAKES THE MEAT PRODUCTS YOU SELL AT THE MARKETS?

Our aim is to provide you with a range of delicious, locally sourced products.
